Music for Media
I've been working on more music for video projects and I'll post some samples here to check out. I've also done a little voice-over work, and when completed projects are published by clients I will post them here!
Note: Some pieces were written with media applications in mind (film, video game, etc.) so they appear here as well.
Past Projects:
Intro for the Button Mash Bash 36 Hour Charity Marathon that was live-streamed on Twitch.tv using my track "A Return to ACTION." The stream raised over $11,000 for the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.
Voice-over work for the Cornhusker Marriott Hotel in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Scores for short films in college.
Track Listing/Description
1. A Return To ACTION - Original music written for drum corps that I messed with to get something that ended up sounding like something out of a 1980s action movie. This music was used by the Button Mash Bash charity livestream on Twitch.
2. Remember When - Digital playback of a piece for strings. Meant for listeners to come up with their own story or memory while listening. An actual score is in the works.
3. Ambient Wedding Video Music Demo - A quick track I made for a hotel commercial. The track is meant to be an ambient background to the narrative of the video. Lots of sunlight and subtle cues.
4. The Hero Arrives! - An updated version of "The Hero Arrives!" from The Game Soundtrack! - A soundtrack to a game that doesn't exist! I plan on going through the soundtrack and updating each track's nostalgia version as well as a creating a "modern" version for each.
5. The Girl (Silent Film Scene) - Incidental music for a scene in a non-existent silent film in which I see a guy walking down the street, spotting a girl, and trying overly hard to impress her. With each attempt the man becomes more determined until he finally realizes that he cannot gain her affection and he continues his walk down the street, defeated.
6. & 7. Fight For It! (Boss Battle) - This came about while I was writing a retro video game soundtrack for fun. #4 is the “retro/chiptune-esque” version and #5 is a more “modern” version.
